DUBAG Beteiligungsgesellschaft takes over the entire Schwinn Group. Thus, the positioning of the company and the position compared to the competition will be further strengthened.

Acquisition by private equity firm Finatem
The Finatem investment company purchases the entire Schwinn Group. Thus, operations in the already profitable company are protected from cash flow problems and expansion capabilities are strengthened.

Commissioning of Schwinn Factory in Krakow
With a new plant in Krakow, the capabilities of Schwinn Polska Ltd were expanded to production using plastic injection moulding, die cast-zinc and surface finishing.
1998
Construction in Weimar and move to Schwinn Weimar GmbH
Schwinn acquires a 14,000 square meter plot in the North Industrial area of Weimar. Here 3000 square meters provides space for production and administration. Today this is home to twelve modern zinc die casting machines, a vibratory grinding machine and a powder coating facilities. Together these are used to manufacture 50,000 to 60,000 furniture handles and knobs a day.

Foundation of Daughter Company Schwinn Polska Gmbh
In 1994, Schwinn Polska GmbH was founded with its headquarters in Krakow.
1991
Foundation of Daughter Company Schwinn Weimer GmbH
After reunification, a branch was founded in Weimar. A hall is rented and the metal production from Nieder-Beerbach relocated there. With success: the machine park will grow from the original two to twelve modern zinc die casting machines over the next eleven years. Today 65 employees work in Weimar.
